NetGalley Knockout — Halfway results [updated]

NetGalley Knockout Extension I had originally posted this before getting Christen’s email so I’ve revamped it a bit to make it more suitable. –J

Christen over at Goldilox and the Three Weres started an excellent challenge at the start of this month: NetGalley Knockout! You can read the full details and sign up here. I didn’t make it through all of the books I had listed (there were over 40!) but I did make some nice progress. Thankfully, Christen has decided to extend challenge until October 15! Here’s where I stand so far, with some new titles added on because I just couldn’t resist… *shameface*

I’ve read a total of 13 titles. I also DNFed two titles because I couldn’t get into them. You won’t see posts about them because I don’t like to post about books I haven’t finished. (My personal stance is that it’s not fair because sometimes the best stuff in a book is towards the end, so I may have missed out on the moments that really make the books special.) If you look back through my posts, you’ll see I also read some non-NetGalley stuff. I had some commitments for Paranormal Summer Camp and I also had some must-read books show up on my doorstep and I just couldn’t resist. All in all, though, I got through more than I anticipated so yay!

Since the challenge has been extended, I’m extra motivated to keep picking away at this list (which has grown a bit longer because I couldn’t help but request a few titles) in the hopes of having it really whittled down by the end of the year, if not by mid-October.
