Hot release: By A Thread by Jennifer Estep

Exciting news! Jennifer Estep has released the cover for the sixth Elemental Assassin book on her blog and it’s gorgeous.

I love how it matches the other covers in the series, probably because they’re all by the artist, the talented Tony Mauro. He also does the covers for Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampires series, Yasmine Galenorn’s Otherworld books, and some for Anya Bast, among others.

The blurb is up at Amazon and I’m going to share it here but BEWARE OF SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED READING TANGLED THREADS. (I have, and will be posting about it over at Tynga’s Reviews some time this month. *So* good.)

The sixth book in the USA TODAY bestselling Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series featuring Gin Blanco, who by day owns a Tennessee BBQ joint, and by night is a tough female assassin known as the Spider. Gin Blanco never thought she’d need a vacation from being an assassin. But a few weeks ago, she killed Mab Monroe, her nemesis and the most powerful Fire elemental in Ashland. Now, all the city’s lowlifes are trying to make a name for themselves by taking out the Spider. So she heads south to a swanky beach town, along with her baby sister, Bria, for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when an old friend of Bria’s is threatened by a powerful vampire with deadly elemental magic, it looks like Gin will have to dig the silverstone knives out of her suitcase after all. But this time, her special powers might not be enough to prevent her from coming home in a pine box…

I am so excited for this. I can’t believe we have to wait until next year to read By A Thread but I know it’ll be worth it because Jennifer Estep always delivers a gripping ride of a book!

OMG, such a fantastic series. If I had the time and money, and was a bit creepier, I’d build a shrine to this woman. Her UF books are amaze-balls. Amaze-balls!
