Unfallen Dead (Connor Grey #3) by Mark Del Franco
Unfallen Dead is Mark Del Franco‘s third outing with Connor Grey and it does not disappoint. This time around, Connor is dealing with the consequences of the conclusion of Unquiet Dreams, complete with an underQueen from Faerie overseeing the investigation.
The blurb from the publishers says that, “For a century since the Convergence of Faerie and modern reality, the Ways between this world and the next have been closed. But now signs point to the chance that the veil may lift again.
Connor Grey has enough problems with a vengeful Queen of Faerie and the return of his old Guild partner. Add an occult string of murders, and it’s another case that just may kill him.”
Mark Del Franco delivers all this and more! We learn more about Connor’s magical problems, his relationships develop, and we’re exposed to a lot more information about Convergence and Faerie, which is pretty cool. Plus there are some great appearances by my favourite secondary characters, which always makes me happy. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book, Unperfect Souls.
