Pride (Shifters #3) by Rachel Vincent

RachelVincentPrideRachel Vincent is one of my favourite authors. She’s relatively new to the game but I think she tells great stories and is a good writer. I’ve been waiting and waiting for Pride and actually had to put off reading it while I was doing schoolwork, but I’m pleased to report that it is a fabulous book.

Pride picks up right where Rogue left off and deals with the ramifications of Faythe’s actions in that book. We get to meet a lot of new characters and see other aspects of the werecat world, which is really neat, especially since this doesn’t come at the expense of existing characters, who are all featured appropriately. Plus we meet a different type of were animal, which is always interesting. There’s also some great development on the relationship front, although it’s not the happily ever after that I was hoping for. That being said, though, I’m really pleased with how everything is evolving for Faythe and I look forward to reading the next installment of her story, which is due out this summer.

  1. House says :

The main character’s name is “Faythe”? As in “Faith”, but misspelled? *sigh* When will people learn?…
