My pick this week is actually for a self-published book I saw over on Book Chick City. Covers of self-pubbed books usually aren’t the greatest but this one is magic:
I love the grittiness and the colours and the way Kansas is walking alone, machete in hand. The cover really evokes a strong sense of impending menace and isolation. Gorgeous!
Taking on the Dead is the first book in the Famished trilogy and it comes out in April or May.
